Progressive offers higher Liability limits for Texas Commercial Auto Insurance

New higher limits in our Texas Commercial auto program

Effective April 20, 2011, for new and renewal business

On April 20, 2011, Progressive will be adding $1.5 million and $2 million combined single limit (CSL) liability options. There are no underwriting restrictions with these new limits—if your are eligible for liability, you’ll now be able to choose these options.

We'll help you get the coverage you need—and help you save money, too
Some commercial customers need these higher limits to satisfy regulatory requirements, bid on contracts, or gain access to certain worksites.

With Progressive's updated program, it’s easier than ever to get the coverage you need. Since you no longer need to find an umbrella to satisfy a higher auto liability requirement, you’ll save time—and you will save money.

Common business types that need higher limits of liability:

  • Auto haulers
  • Dirt, Sand & Gravel haulers
  • Professional landscapers
  • Commercial service providers
  • Contractors

Currently, these new limits are available in Ohio, Virginia and Texas but Progressive will be introducing them countrywide in the next year.
